There is a garden area 100 yards from the property along the banks of the river and small waterfall, ideal for al fresco dining or a glass of wine or two.
There are many places to visit in this amazing part of East Devon. The cathedral city of Exeter is less than a half hour drive away. Take a walk along the Jurassic Coastal Path with amazing scenery and towns with plenty of shops and cafés. This is the perfect location for birdwatching, walking, fishing, golf and water sports, and there are many National Trust properties all close by. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both worth a visit. Take a walk on the tors, see the ponies or stop in one of the many charming villages for a traditional Devon cream tea. Beach 2 miles. Supermarket 2 miles. Shop and pub ¼ mile.
