The beautiful Church of St. Giles stands at the centre of the village where a church building has stood since Saxon times. It has a Norman tower and alterations and additions from every century since. Under the chancel there exists to this day a 7th century Saxon crypt which is open every Thursday afternoon, during the summer, when guided tours take place.
